We are going to learn How to Crochet Color Pop Beanie Pattern. This project is worked in the round from the top down. The brim is worked separately in rows and then sewn to the hat. It’s a fun and easy hat pattern. I think it would be good for beginner crocheters who want to practice color changes.
I love the texture that can be created by combining different crochet stitches. This structural design will look great in any colour. It works up in about 30 minutes. This is an easy level crochet pattern, and the techniques you will need to know.
Materials :
- crochet hook: H 5mm
- yarn: worsted weight (#4). I used Red Heart Super Saver in white, pretty-n-pink, bright yellow, minty, amethyst and charcoal
- tapestry needle
- locking stitch markers
- scissors
- measuring tape
- extra large pom pom maker
- hot melt adhesive
Hats are also a great way to practice the basic stitches that are the foundation of crochet such as the single, double crochet, half double crochet and single crochet. A handmade beanie is special because you made it by hand with someone in mind the whole time you were creating it.
Before you begin, review this page entirely so you understand the full scope of the project.
