This Crochet Mesh Stitch Pattern will show you how to create mesh that you can crochet for warm weather accessories. The fun thing about this stitch is that it not only looks beautiful on it’s own, there are so many more, different ways to work with it once it’s complete. The mesh stitch is great for any crochet project where you want to create a lacy look. I am currently making a scarf using this stitch so be on the look out a new pattern soon. This stitch was one of the first stitches I discovered and it’s still one of my favorites. It looks amazing in variegated yarn.
How to Crochet Flower Mesh Stitch ?
The mesh stitch is a versatile and airy crochet stitch that is great for summer garments and accessories. To crochet the mesh stitch, you will need to know how to chain and single crochet. Choose a lightweight yarn and a appropriate sized crochet hook. Start by making a chain that is the desired width of your project.
To crochet the mesh stitch, work a row of single crochets, then chain one and skip a stitch. Work the next single crochet into the next stitch and repeat, working single crochets into every other stitch and chaining one in between. On the next row, work single crochets into the single crochets from the previous row and chain one into the chain spaces. Repeat these two rows until your project reaches the desired length. The mesh stitch is a simple stitch pattern that creates an open and lacy fabric. Try using it for a summer shawl or a beach bag.
